15 March 2011: Quixant Receives AAMS Accreditation in Italy

Quixant is pleased to announce that it has been accredited by AAMS (Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato) for the manufacture of gaming systems for use in the Italian market. AAMS is the state body responsible for the regulation of gaming in Italy.

Gary Mullins, Sales Director of Quixant Ltd said: “This is great news for Quixant. We have invested strongly in the Italian market over the last two years to make sure we have the best products and the best local support for our customers. Being officially accredited by AAMS is the next logical step in our plans for a long-term business in Italy. Our QXi-106 product has been specifically designed to be a complete, high performance, low cost Comma 6A solution. It includes all the necessary AAMS protocols making it extremely easy to use and is supported by our own team of software engineers based in Quixant Italia."

Our new QXi-200, based on the latest AMD Fusion technology, is ideally suited to Comma 6B (VLT), 7C, Totem and other Italian gaming machines. It is the first DirectX® 11 and OpenGL® 4.1 capable gaming platform to be launched in the Italian market.

As well as working with AAMS for accreditation, Quixant has expert experience of working with testing labs in Italy such as Quinel and GLI for the approval of games. This speeds up the approval process for new games and reduces development costs, which are significant benefits for our customers.
