AMD

AMD are recognized as the “gamers choice” for CPU due to the features of their CPU’s matching well to the demands of the gaming market. AMD produce CPU’s that run cooler and faster and more reliably than any of their competitors.

AMD have a very strong embedded group which guarantees long supply times for its parts through embedded roadmaps released to its partners. This enables us to guarantee to supply you our platforms for minimum of 7 years from the release date of that platform.

ATi

ATi (now part of AMD) is recognized as being the only graphics gpu maker with an embedded program. ATi market leading technology provides the ultimate in graphics performace for our products. No other graphics CPU on an embedded program can deliver performance even close to that of the ATi gpu's.

ATi also have a strong embedded group with open source linux drivers making them ideally suited for the linux community.

Microsoft

Microsoft strong and ever expanding market presence within gaming. Many of the machines in operation today are running Windows XPe and have been doing so for many years. With Microsoft set to support Windows XPe till 2012 its still a good choice of OS.

As a Licensed Microsoft partner Quixant is able to supply the XPe licence as part of its platform.

Linux

We fully support the Linux community with a full set of drivers and API’s for our product. So if you choose to develop your games with a Linux OS feel confident that Quixant is here to support you.
